Multiple soundcards and drivers at the same time

Hi,

I want to send audio out of MAX7 to a USB - Bluetooth dongle with one set of drivers and then recieve sound from a microphone using an RME soundcard and another set of drivers. All of this needs to happen at the same time.
Is there anyway to configure MAX7 to use different drivers for the adc~ and the dac~ objects?
Or is there a workaround using re-wire or something like that?

I don't know under Windows, but under MacOSX, you can choose different devices for input and output. Just select them in Max' "Audio Status…" window.

Its not as straightforward in Windows. I managed to get multiple interfaces working together using ASIO4ALL - this lets you add multiple devices. Other than that, im not sure how you'd go about this.

To complement the information, on Mac OS X you can even use inputs and/or outputs of different soundcards at the same time.
Core Audio takes care of it through an abstraction, a kind of virtual soundcard. You can use Audio MIDI Setup (in Applications / Utilities) to create an "aggregate device"

Is there anything similar for Windows?
Have this been improved with Windows 10 or Max 8?
