munger~ help!

Hello everyone,
If someone has any experience with the munger~ object, i would really appreciate some help..
these might be a very silly questions.. but here it goes..
What is the deference between the "voices" and "grains" at the munger~ object ?
can a voice play more than one grain simultaneously ?
When i specify the grain separation at lets say, 1000ms, why are there grains (?) produced sooner than that ? I banged a [timer] at every new grain i heard, and the time between them was 500ms...
Thank you veeeery much in advance!!

I suspect your test is flawed. The patch below shows that the time between grains is the same as grain separation, regardless of the number of voices:

A voice is a stream of grains. It's like polyphony on a synthesizer. If your settings cause a new grain to be triggered, it will happen so long as there is a voice free to play it.
