music instrument recordings

Hi,

Any of you who have an idea where I can find recordings of single drum beats of percussion instruments or recordings of single tones of melody instruments? I am looking for anything as long as the recordings contain as little backrgound noise as possible - free or for sale.

Anyone, who has an idea? (It doesn't work to search on the internet if you don't know the name of someone who sells/shares them (not much comes up when I type some names of some instruments. However I found a website that lists folk music instruments in alphabethical order: http://www.hobgoblin-usa.com/info/glossary.htm)
