hello i am trying to hook up this midi controller:

it has 9 buttons, 9 knobs, a joystick, and can work on 9 channels... a friend has sent me some patches that maybe are a part of what i need but i really dont know what to do with them or how to implement them. i have attached two patches (one of them is supposedly simpler but they both do the same things i think) and i have also attached a screenshot of what i used with the other patch before i lost it... could you please help me or point me in the right direction? thanks -- jacob r
