I'm trying to setup a subpatch for recognition and filtering of whether MIDI input is a single note, or more than a single note.

If it's a single note, we take the low road.

If it's more than a single note, we take the high road.

You can do it the hard way, but the third outlet of [borax] will report the number of notes active. The rest is (yet another) a piece of cake...

I think we can agree that the Borax solution is certainly the most elegant and simplistic, plus Borax gets sheets clean and fresh !
