Needing help with a endless dial
Well, when i turn right print 1 but when the turn is complete print 0 and
when i turn left print 0 but when the turn is complete print 1.
I would like print always 1 if i turn righ the dial and print always 0 if i turn left the dial.
Is it possible?
Much easier than you think it should be:
Thanksss!! Yep much easier but when the dial value is 0 the error appear. Turn right and see the print.
:(
This is only because the dial is set to circular mousing, which never is clear. set it to vertical, and you'll be happy...
I never understood how one would ever want circular mousing, and I strongly recommend a different default. Circular is simply useless, you will be punished automatically if you use it, no law necessary...;-)
If you want to exclude occasional zeros, you can do it like that:
Stefan
Sorry for no treading the original topic correctly. The dial in your patch was clipped (default) and not endless.
This should fix your problem:
Thanksss stefantiedje!!!
shouldnt it be 1 and -1? :)
I would think that would be better.
Here it is doing 1/-1 with an accum in the mix.
I have seen another posibilty. Its a mixer patch between stefan and another patch i have seen.
This patch is to control the jog in some programs like traktor, virtual dj, etc.
Thankss to everybody! This patch is to control a jog in some programs like traktor, virtual dj, etc.
