Just wondering people's thoughts on the best, fastest, most robust method of communicating data over networks -- otudp/OSC, mxj net.udp.senc/recv, the jitter ones (can't remember the name), or any 3rd party ones I don't know about (I remember there being a netsend~/netreceive~ pair somewhere)?

thoughts?

hi,

i am stuck with the fact that any vst-plug i create that contains
more than one plugout~ opject (with correct arguments of the desired
outputpair) crashes logic pro 7.1's au-valiation tool and live 5.03.

below is a most simple patch that crashes as vst. if you remove the
second plugout~ (3 4) object it runs fine.

i remember using multiouts without a problem som time ago but not
anymore.
does anyone have an idea ?

thanks in advance,
tatsu.

Or you can implement OSC in Java and access it from MXJ. At the
moment I have OSC transmission running over UDP and under TCP; OSC
reception is partly done, and I also want to look into supporting
Multicasting.
