Newbie -- standalone application audio problem
Hi,
I cannot make audio I/O work in standalone applications. For instance, when I create a standalone application from the simple patch below, the audio doesn't work. Should I add something to the Contents -> Support folder to make it work? Any advise greatly appreciated. I use Max/MSP 4.6.3 on Mac.

You should add the standalone object to your patch. Get info on the standalone object it and make sure Audio Support is enabled.

I've done that -- audio support is enabled. There are no error messages in the status window when I open the application. Still no sound.

Add an [open] message to the dac, to check the audio settings in your
standalone. You might be on the wrong driver. Or forgot to switch on
audio...
It should work without problems...
