No audio output - Max 9.1.3 - what am I missing? - SOLVED
Macbook Pro 15.6.1, Max 9.1.3.
I'm being thick ... Help me out someone. I'm getting no sound out of Max. Rest of the system is fine (Tidal, Youtube) but nothing from Max. I've tried different Output Devices, did preference re-set and re-authorization, but still nothing. What am I missing? I have a feeling it's obvious but can't see it ...
In Live, Max for Live is working fine.
Just did a re-install, still nothing.
maybe verify your audio input output patch, at bottom of the preferences window, at the left off the loudspeakers picture. That is saved in the max preferences. The adstatus maxhelp can give infos

Solved!
Max didn't pick up the Sample Rate of the audio interface which was set to 96kHz. When I changed it in the app for the interface, Max picked it up. Changed it to 48, 41, then back to 96 and all fine.
Could it be that, on loading, Max isn't reading the audio interface of the Focusrite but once it is loaded, it does ...? Anyhow, all working well :)
