Im getting no sound from my MAX 5 all of a sudden. Audio Tester shows no signals but MIDI tester does produce sound. I dont understand please help. Ive tried alternating between sound cards and everything. Volume is up. Mute is off etc etc

Open up the DSP Status patch from the Options menu and have a look in there. Have you got the right driver, outputs and channels selected?

my audio output from max was not working anymore. It was looking like the CPU was not processing anymore. The software saw the output in the DSP Status (soundcard external or internal, live,..) but did not work. There was no CPU utilization and no sound! If I put a cycle in a scope, there was no acivity.

I tried everythig and then suddenly I just change the signal vector size in the DSP status from 1 to 2 and back and I had my sound back...really strange, but at least I had my sound back.
