I tried setting the @node_bin_path property on the "node.script" object on windows.

@node_bin_path "C:/Program Files/nodejs/node"

@node_bin_path "C:\\Program Files\\nodejs\\node" 

@node_bin_path C:\\Program Files\\nodejs\\node

None worked even though the node binary is at this place.

Any idea what I can try to debug the situation? I don’t even get an error message in max console.

node-4-live-"node_bin_path"-on-windows

 on the Node executable, which is required in the Windows environment (you can compare to the result of 

 binary paths if you'd like to use your system's.

Attached an example patch where the JS content of the script looks like the following:

I think you are missing the .exe on the Node executable, which is required in the Windows environment (you can compare to the result of where node on the cmd).

Also I'd advise to set both, the node and the npm binary paths if you'd like to use your system's.
