noisy mess
hi
I'm trying to control the colour of noise with breath -
but finding it hard to link up the seperate elements and get this patch working
When there is no amplitude ( holding the breath) I want there to be white noise
then as the breath exhales I'm zmapping peakamp to a litter object that gives pink to black noise colour ( but I can't switch the white noise of)
I want the amplitude of the exhaled breath to corrospond to the colour of noise
If anyone can help - I'm just about to pulll my hair out
Thanks
I can't look at your patch in depth right now, but why not replace the [noise~] object with an [lp.pvvv~] with the Hurst factor set to -0.5, then control _that_ object with your peakamp level?
Note that the levels that lp.pvvv~ produce go down a great deal as you go into the darker (larger Hurst factor) regions, and you may want to have the gain adjusted. You may find the newer lp.qvvv~ object handles this a little more elegantly.
Thanks Peter!
this seems a work around... lp.qvvv - is looking good
Does it give me white noise? Sounds like it but on the help it just mentions a range from pink to black
Hi
I'm using a litter object - for coloured noise but I think there's something weird happening with the peakamp and edge it seems to work only on occassions
Any insights greatly received
