non-MaxMSP, wiring query (Arduino)

Hail forum
anyone know how to wire a 3-pin linear-FSR, so that it functions like a normal 2-pin FSR? 3 pins are Vref/gnd/+5v.

forgive non-MaxMSP-ness of the topic

ps will also post on Arduino forum etc; I have a sneaky suspicion to just use gnd (via 220R) and +5v pins

I would try just Vref and +5v. don't use the gnd and see what happens. I have a bunch of FSRs and they actually only come with Vref and +5v and I have to add the gnd, that's why I'm suggesting it. good luck

Hey thanks for the suggestion; so, split Vref into two: gnd via 220R, and arduino analog in?

Do you have a data sheet? I assume you mean a force sensing resistor? Not sure you need Vref instead of just an analog pin.
