I've just started in MAX/MSP to make an 8-step sequencer to use in a hardware synth setup. I've found an example around here which I'm customizing. I have assigned a dial-object to every note's pitch. Now I have two simple (i guess) questions:

1. When I turn the dial, I hear my synth output the pitch change for that note. How do I change this?

2. I have an Akai LPD8 midi controller. I would like the 8 pads to control the toggle-objects to turn notes on or off, and the 8 knobs to control the dial-objects that change note pitch.

I've included my patch in the attachment. I've tried to receive knob state with a CTRIN-object on the first note's pitch dial, but I don't know how to make it work.

this is a real quick fix. it has comments to explain the tweaks. I didnt do any work to set up your pads, but it should be clear enough if you see what ive done with the controller knobs. good luck.
