note~ for max?

    Hi forum..
    Just out of curiosity... Does anybody know what happened with the note~ for max midi sequencing object? The website seems the same since months. And my appliance for being a beta tester is rejected every time. Hope it's still alive.
    Would be great if Max had a sequencer object like 'Note~' or 'rs.delos'.
    Anyway.....is there somebody who knows something about this object?

      There will be a public beta very soon, it was supposed to be released this week. But with the update to Max 6, the Object needs to be updated too and all of our documentation stuff does not work anymore. Best Regards, Thomas

      Ah ok. That's good news :) Thanks.. I'll wait for the public beta. I just can't seem to pull myself away from max 6.

      I just downloaded and manually installed this package (max 5).
      I have a macbook pro running the last version of Max 5. When I instantiate the note~ object, I get these error messages:
      note~: unable to load object bundle executable 2012-04-07 09:54:07.196 MaxMSP[321:207] Error loading /Applications/Max5/3rd Party/3rd party externals/note~ Objects/note~.mxo/Contents/MacOS/note~: dlopen(/Applications/Max5/3rd Party/3rd party externals/note~ Objects/note~.mxo/Contents/MacOS/note~, 262 ): Symbol not found: _gensym_tr Referenced from: /Applications/Max5/3rd Party/3rd party externals/note~ Objects/note~.mxo/Contents/MacOS/note~ Expected in: /Applications/Max5/MaxMSP.app/Contents/Frameworks/MaxAPI.framework/MaxAPI in /Applications/Max5/3rd Party/3rd party externals/note~ Objects/note~.mxo/Contents/MacOS/note~
      Any suggestions?

      absolutely love it! Great object. So many possibilities. Still trying to find the limits of what it can do.
      What are your thoughts about integrating a function as an event type? With curves :) like ej.function. The multislider functionality seems like it could be very handy. But dragging curvePoints is just a little bit easier to handle. Anyway, like I said I like the note~ object a lot!!

      Hi Maxers, there is a new version of note~ available at www.noteformax.net with - a lot of bug fixes - improved overall stability
      @wilco: Please send any feature requests also to bugs [at] noteformax.net. I probably will integrate some kind of function graph in a future version. Cheers, Thomas
