Can I get some clarification on whether this is true or not?

There's a whole subpatcher in the thispatcher help patcher dedicated to the 'script newobject' message, but then the reference file says:

Note: Use of the thispatcher object to create new objects is not supported.

Should it be seen then as an experimental feature?
