numberboxes smoke crack in Max5?
Hi there,
Taking the new Max 5 for a spin, looks great (especially the new Max
status window) but numberboxes are really freaking me out. The new
behavior of continuing to increase/decrease is nice for float boxes,
but for int boxes I can't get any measure of precision when I click
and drag. Any tips?
Cheers

Thanks for the report. However, you need to be *much* clearer in what
you're describing, and should post to the main max list. The numberbox
works fine according to my expectations, but maybe I'm
misunderstanding what you're looking for.

stop using a tablet....
..with a mouse or touchpad it works fine
which means for me that i have to wait for the next update
cause i only can work with a tablet.....
:(
There should really be a "number boxes smoke crack" checkbox in the
inspector. There has to be a way to toggle that on and off. You guys
dropped the ball on that one, cycling.

it;s not only the numberbox but also
forexample the triscale attribute
with a tablet it's very hard to put it on a certain number
coulnd't find a tablet setting in any prefs yet.....
Moving this thread to the MaxMSP forum
Oh, I see - it was under the "meth-lab-in-the-bathtub" menu
inspector. I unclicked the box, but that's a hard habit for them to
break...
Anyway, from my other posts you've probably guessed by now that this
is a tablet issue. The mouse works fine, but the Wacom tablet is all
over the place with gui objects. 10.4.11 & Wacom 6.0.5-3
Cheers
