Object like "select" that outputs int/float/txt?

Is there an object like "select" that has an int/float/txt output instead of a bang?

I made a test... route needs an additional symbol otherwise it will output a bang.
If i put the argument "8" in the object it will output a bang when it receives an 8. But it will work proper when the incoming is copied. If it receives an "8 8" than the router (with the argument 8) will output an 8.
That could be a solution. Thank you.

If you give the [route] object arguments of "int" and "float" it will properly output integers and floats from separate outlets. However, it doesn't have a "text" or "symbol" equivalent.

      Hi bkshepard,
what i needed was a bit more specific than int/ float/text only...... thats why i referred to the [select] object. But it works with text and symbols too.
      press the keys "k" "l" "o"

I will keep it in mind
@MIB Your hint with the router was good. I solved the the problem with it. Your example patch shows a cool solution too.
I needed to separate incoming notes and the int value.... thats all.
