object overview in max 5

Hi there, since this week I finally made the transition from max4 to max5. Everything is working fine and I can get around. However, since I teach max to my students I was looking for an overview of all max, msp and jitter object within max5. In max4, when you make an object you get a pop-up next to your empty object and you can select (by category) an object. This is really handy when you have to learn objects. I was hoping you could find something in max5 but after several days, I can't seem to find it. I did find something in the file browser but thats really inconvenient since this opens the original file and not something directly into your patcher like max4 used to do.
So my question is...do I miss something or am I right concluding that there isn't a object overview in max5?

      Hi Ole,
Thanx for your reply. However, I use max 5.07 but when I hoover on the right site of the object I get a square to adjust the size of the object. Do I need to press or adjust something?

While not as useful as that menu while patching, your students my also be interested to see that in the Max Help, there is a list of objects (separated by Max/MSP/Jitter) by function or A-Z (if you haven't seen this already).

I also find the "Max Object Thesaurus" by Stefan Tiedje very useful:
to put in the Max "Extras" Folder

      Hi Roth,
Yes, I saw the list you are referring too and indeed is very usefull. However, a list which enables you to directly insert object into your patch is really handy.
The Max Object Thesaurus by Stefan was really handy in max4 but since max5 I think its a bit obsolete. The architecture within max5 is a big improvement over max4. Still, for me, I really have to get used to max5. I have been working with max for more than 12 years now and it's a big change. But a welcome one.
Thankx for your input and advice.
