Offset HSlider and "PP"

I have run into either a limitation or a bug and I am wondering if there is a way around it.

I am using a HSlider with a range of 256 and an offset of -127. The slider works perfectly until I connect a PP object to/from it so that it can be controlled within the Pluggo environment. When I do this, the slider refuses to move. I have tried defining the Low and high parameter values in the PP object to several different values, and the result is always the same - no fader movement.

However, when I eliminate the offest in the slider, I am able to get it to function correctly.

For the time being, I have resorted to simply subtracting 127 from the output of the fader value and that works just fine.

I am more reporting this in case someone else sees the same problem, or, perhaps it's actually a bug that should be addressed.

Thanks! I assumed that this was the case.
But I still figured that the PP object wouldn't have a hard time with this. Aparently it does, though.

So - I'm afraid I don't understand the point of the PP object you sent me. But I appreciate it!

Thanks again.

Even if its seems trivial to make a patch to test your finding, it would
be very helpfull if you'd submit a patch which demonstrates this. (I
don't believe it, I don't try - if there's a patch I'll try...)
