(offtopic) recommended Video clip archiving + tagging software
hi, sorry if this is a bit off topic, but it does seem relevant to anyone working a lot with many video clips as many jitter users do. I am looking for good video clip "library" software, that would enable me to tag clips with keywords, create sets, etc- much like a lot of the photo album software out there. The best is one that would also let me export or burn such sets directly. Any open source, gnu or free software is preferred, but I'm really looking for a good solution so that's the most important. The platform should be preferably mac + pc.

You may use a RDBMS like mysql or hsqldb, and build your own video clip
library software directly from max:
