openGL context on multiple monitors
Hi All,
there is a huge performance problem when some openGL context is
displayed in a window extending multiple screens, typically 2
monitors driven by the same graphic card;
here on a DP G5 2.7Ghz with an ATI Radeon 9600, the frame rate is at
25fps when the window is entirely on one screen, but as soon as it
extends on 2 screens, fps drops at 12 fps...
this topic has been probably discussed before, i think there are
graphic cards which handle much better dual monitors display
(nVidia?), or probably there are some new ones coming out there (the
Matrox DualHead2Go box);
any advise or recent experiences on this issue?
