Oscillating FPS

Hi,
I'm using a big patch to control video camera and movie triggering. When I test in on the MacBook Pro screen, everything works fine, I get a higher than 30 fps. But as soon as I make it fullscreen on the projector, the fps starts oscillating between 25 and 30, always to the same values. Does anyone got something like this? I didn't had the chance to test the "; jitter glreadback fbo", but I'm wondering if it is the only solution.
Thanks a lot for your time!

BTW, I did use many cues from the forum like Vade's video optimization recipes to make it as best as it can. On the main screen it works fine, but I can't understand why displaying it on the projector makes it stutter a bit.

When you say fullscreen what resolution do you mean? If you pop it from a small window size to something like 1024x768 then things will slow down a bit.

The window size is 1024 x 768. So there should not be any difference between the window and fullscreen display. The big difference is when I take the window from the MacBook Pro screen to the projector. Is there a matter of the screen refresh frequency or something like that? Or any tricky bypass to get the fps stable as on the computer's main screen?
