Use Safari, go to movie, open activity window, find large file downloading and double click - latest version of safari will download an .flv file which VLC can play. Or use MPEG Streamclip program with url.

I've found this one. No video unfortunately :) but some handy info on freq. of real instruments. Although a bit tough to navigate. Just search for "synthsecrets"

I think many people on here would benefit from this Intro to Computing course:

Probably a lot of it is review, depending on your abilities, but the prof is very clear and really moves through things well, with lots of helpful caveats. A great overview of general programming concepts and specifics which can be applied to any language you use.
