[OT question about forums] What does the shading signify?
i always thought the shading of posts signified who is part of Cycling74 and who is a regular 'user'.
but this post confused me and so now i wonder if i was wrong:
https://cycling74.com/forums/duplicated-structures-without-interferences-using
there you can see Emmanuel's posts appear over a slightly different shade than the normal background white of most pages on this site(looks like a light-greyish-pink to me), but Gregory's is not(his is just like the rest of us 'users')? i know they're both part of Cycling(Gregory has written numerous brilliant articles)... so why the difference?
you can also see Ben's has the shading:
https://cycling74.com/forums/upgrade
and so do Jeremy's:
https://cycling74.com/forums/two-faders-controlling-eachother
(if i'm being too invasive, ignore me, i'm just curious. but if not, would love to know...)

Your assumption is correct, but it has to do with the account that the user is logged in on. Gregory is logged in via his "personal" account, which isn't C74-flagged. This is apparently being fixed up, though, so you'll be able to enjoy the "voice of authority tinge" from us all!
"you'll be able to enjoy the "voice of authority tinge" from us all!"
haha, good, it is good to see the distinct presence of a caring authority.
thanks, Jeremy and All.
