i'm working on a live performance piece which is based on a graphic 

timeline score. i would like to have a set of LED "count-up" timers, 

one for each performer, that are synchronized to a master clock. i 

saw a similar setup at tristan perich's performance with the Bang On 

A Can All-Stars at Lincoln Center a couple of weeks ago. i've been 

trolling the web looking for something off-the-shelf with little 

luck. anyone have any thoughts? a hardware solution is preferred.
