panning between 2 speakers with data of optical flow
hi,
i want to pan sound between two speakers, depending on optical flow of an image...
i know the cv.jit.tools to do this stuff but how can a get numbervalues to manipluate the panning out of this cv.jit.lkflow or cv.jit.hsflow?
thanks greets
peter
ok...
found it out in the meantime...
didi it with unpack > jit.3m
p.
ok,
i'm stucked again...
now i get values between 0.0 and 0.1 depending for the red and green channel depending on the optical flow...
for example:
if a person is going from left to right, the value of jit.3m(mean)for the red channel is at 0.9 and the value of jit.3m(mean) for the green one is at 0.0...
how can i map these values on 2 speakers... if somebody is moving from left to right, the sound sould go from right to left...
thx for help
There's also Nathan Wolek's cpPan~ (constant power pan) object:
http://www.nathanwolek.com/, but the tutorial is worth doing just to
understand some fundamental concepts about power laws and intensity
(amplitude, in this case).
