paste replace shortcut
hi,
Since I moved max over to my new macbook pro I've been missing the
paste replace shortcut. And I can't remember which particular 3rd
party package it comes from.
Would some kind person remind me?
thanks
David

Ah, ok. Thanks.
And a little investigation led me to AddShotcuts2Max.command

13 years later... if someone is wondering the shortcut for Paste Replace on Mac is:
Option+Command+V
I can't check for Windows but it should be something like Ctrl+ALT+V
would love to hack that into max4, but i cant find the menu resources.
danke. where is it hidden? is it a resource? i have never searched the data fork.
oh it is in the beginning of the data fork and readable, nice. in OSX you can use third party tools for that but patching the app is of course better.
the 4.1 datafork looks completely different though.
edit: uh. now suddenly it is in the resource class where you would expect it. it has not been there 15 years ago, i swear. (i´ve already edited some menus such as show object palette^^)
Das ist richtig, in resources war es nicht editierbar.
Erst durch einfügen von hex code für den shortcut.
Man kann es eigentlich ablesen bei vorhandenen shortcuts
und entsprechend einfügen.
