patterns visualized with scrolling multislider?

this is kind of an obscure question but....

just curious if anyone has sent specific fast number streams to a scrolling multislider to make interesting visual patterns?
ive been working with plotting basic waveforms and combinations and coming up with some interesting things (and then mapping these values to various parameters in my patches / vst's).

i realize this could be done easier or more effectively in jitter but....
just wondering if anyone out there has played around with generating interesting or unique visual patterns with the scrolling multislider?

let me know.

how about a little "follow the leader"? Might be interesting to connect that to a markov chain generator. So you move it a bit, it records that, and then moves it according to a markov chain. hm.

thats fun.
but im looking more into sending in fast streams of single values (like between 0.-1.) into a point or line scroll multislider to make patterns. a simple example is sending in a sine wave or sawtooth. im interested in getting some more complex visual patterns going on.....
