Here's a plug for Edinburgh's annual Dialogues Festival of Electronic Music, which this year is in the Queens Hall over 16th/17th Feb.

The emphasis is on live, improvised electronics and electroacoustics, with people using MaxMSP, SuperCollider and Ableton Live to play alongside with (and mangle!) drums, strings, trumpet and tuba!

Some of the artists from Rune Grammofon and Leaf labels will be giving free talks about how they incorporate software into their work at Edinburgh Uni on Friday 16th, with details at:
