I have been working on this for a while and wonder if anyone has a solution or can provide any insight.

I have a set of vdrums that I bring in as a direct line into my motu. So this is essentially the same as getting a trigger from a piezo. I'm trying to get the velocity and trigger of a drum hit.

and I have also used the anaylizer~ object. But getting the velocity integrated into the same message has been a challenge because of order of operations and the timing involved.

But I would rather keep the audio lines separate and I don't get misfiring running directly into the motu anyway. I have attached a basic triggering solve but still need velocity, would be ideal to convert the incoming signal into midi. Any suggestions, or possibly point me in the right direction?
