I was wondering if anyone knows whether drivers for the pioneer dmp-555 exist for OS X and whether anyone has used it with Max for control. It has a usb interface and there's a bunch of dj booth software that came with it that lets you control playback in software (windows only). I mostly use java, and am wondering how much trouble I'd have using iokit's c++ subset to write a driver. also, I'm wondering how much information i'd need from pioneer about the data formatting they're using, being as I can't find any, I wonder how realistic this all is. any suggestions or information would be greatly appreciated.
