Playing last recorded sound file with sfplay~

Hi,

I can't get ~sfplay to play the file I've just recorded with sfrecord~ in the same patch.

It will play other files, but not the one I've just recorded.

I've put a delay in so it's not trying to open it as soon as it's finished recording, but no luck.

I've got the same patch working with buffer~ recording, but I need actual files for output.

Any help, ideas or advice very welcome.

Copy patch and select New From Clipboard in Max.

i'm a complete starter in the forum, but i tried this:

the content in sprintf is for MY file path, just any valid path would work i suppose.

Thanks, got it working,

I didn't think this simple task needed to be so complex.

Anyway, thanks for the help, I can now move on.
