playing MIDI note numbers within MAX?

Hi folks,

Is there a way to send MIDI note numbers to a BEAP module, not from a midi keyboard, but from a MAX patch that is generating combinations of midi note numbers? I have a patch that generates random chord inversions using MIDI note numbers, and sending them to the built-in DLS synth for audio. But I assume that there must be an equally simple way to play them from within Max.......no?

Thanks much. It's not quite working yet (no sound output when I click the bang), but hopefully I can figure it out from this starting point. But what did you mean about "Please provide 10 characters"?

set Note to C1 in the cell, then it works.
