I was wondering if anyone can tell me if there is a way to use rtsp streams in msp? I've found different options to stream from max, like with netsend~, but I'm wodering if there's is something which would basically be a netreceive~ for multichannel audio?

The idea is to send 4 channel mono bformat audiostreams from VLC through rtsp and use max/msp to manipulate the soundfield.

Any tips, links, hints are welcome. So far my forum and net searches haven't turned up anything... Google is not my friend today
