Playing videos from Max For Live Crashes

Hi all, I am having problems with a max for live patch I've made. This patch is for playing videos from Live using Max for Live as part of a presentation I am doing. I use it in Live because, despite the videos, I also play some sound files and play live with samples with a singer. I don't know why every time a video reaches its end Live crashes. Can anyone give me a tip? Thanks MacBook Pro i7 8gbRam Mac OS 10.10.5 Ableton Live Standard 9.2.3 Max 7.0.6

One thing to try is changing the combination of Max/Live versions - either using Max 6.1 within Max for Live in 9.2.3 or alternately upgrading to Live 9.5 with Max 7 (also 32 or 64 bit versions may be the issue)). In my case using Max 7 in Live 9.2.3 was very unstable until I went back to 6.1 which was far more reliable - I was using some specific M4L Devices that could have been the source of the problem but haven't definitively pinned down the cause.

Thanks Spectro. I am receiving the message that spigot~ does not support 64bit. Is that the case, maybe?

Reasonable bet that spigot~ is the issue -especially with that message appearing. It may pay for you to do some related searches for more info. If practical in your case, it may also be better to extract the sound components from videos and play 'separately' in Live rather than try to decode/extract sound on the fly anyway.
