Plugins don't show or load after OS X update
I have a MacBook Pro running 10.4.7 with the following plugins
Pluggo Jr.
Digital Fish Phones Fish Fillets
Destroy FX
and the Soundhack Freesound bundle
Everything worked great until a routine OS X update yesterday (I forget exactly what was updated...Pro Application and some of the iLife apps.) Now both the Pluggo Jr and Fish Fillets plugins won't show in any of my application's plugin list (Ableton Live and Soundtrack Pro.) Also any of the files I had saved with these plugins won't load them.
I tried reinstalling both sets and still have the same issue. Any ideas how to fix this?
I, too, can no longer use Pluggo after a system update. I think it was the Apple Security Update 2006-004. The AU plugins don't appear in menus and instantiating a VST Pluggo crashes the host before the plugin window appears. (I didn't check the RTAS Pluggo before removing everything Pluggo from the computer...) AudioUnit Scan (and AU Scan--I tried going back to version 3.5.3) crashes shortly after beginning a scan.
Does AudioUnit Scan crash for you as well?

Download the combo installer for Mac OSX 10.4.7 from www.apple.com. That
should solve this.
Best,

Thanks Trond, I'll give this a try later.
Here's the link to the combo updater for PPC:

The AudioUnit Scan doesn't crash, but it doesn't fix the problem either. I'll try the combo updater for intel and get back to you. Thanks guys.
Okay. I downloaded and ran the combo updater (MacOSXUpdCombo10.4.7Intel.dmg) and the plugins still don't show. What else can I try?
Um - I don't know how they ever worked. We have not released Pluggo for Mac Intel yet.
You'll need to wait a week or so.

I'm still having a problem running Pluggo 3.5.4 on a dual G5. I ran the Pluggo Uninstaller, ran the 10.4.7 Combo updater (NOT Intel) as Trond suggested, and I still have the same problems I outlined earlier.
Might the forthcoming update address my problem Andrew? Or, am I the only person on the planet having difficulty?

If he was running his hosts under Rosetta then I don't see any reason
why pluggo wouldn't work.
I don't think the destroyfx are universal yet, so I would think that
he's still running under Rosetta.
The two things I can think of are: the permissions on those files are
messed up or they now fail auval.
