Poly~ - click when DSP is activated on any voice

I'm using poly~ to make a multi-voice harmonizer where each voice is turned on and off as you press notes on a MIDI keyboard. The issue is that I want to have audio (vocals) going into poly~ as the voices are turning on and off. I'm finding that when I play each note there is an audible click as the DSP is turned on for that voice (mute 0 is sent to thispoly~).

Is there any way to avoid clicks in this situation? Any help would be great!

make sure there is no signal beeing sent prior to unmuting your poly~ instance. It should not make a clic, if there is a clic it's because an audio signal somewhere is "hung" and not at 0 while you unmute it.

When unmuting a voice, you should have a very small fade-in, and when muting you should have a small fade-out. (5ms is enough... check with your own values to see if an even sorter one is OK)

I had tried using short fade-in/outs but I think I was still having trouble because of the delay lines and latency in the harmonizer patch within my poly~. I'm just using longer fades now to avoid the clicks. Thanks for the help!
