populating a umenu

    May 20 2009 | 10:20 pm
I am building a patch were I would like to populate a umenu with the contents of one of several sample folders.
Populating the menu is not the problem, but creating a message that will load the sample from the chosen folder into the buffer is where I am having the problems.
I have assigned a prefixfolder to the umenu and am sending the message out through a prepend with the replace message.
The buffer will not read though.
Think I might be missing something obvious...?
    Any help would be great

The patch below should work for you. To find out where you were going wrong try putting a [print] after each outlet and seeing where the output differs from what you would expect. Oh, and remember the "autopopulate" attribute of [umenu].
