Preset disconnected, but it still controls the object: **PROBLEM SOLVED**

There was such a tangle of connections that I missed one. Turns out it wasn't the preset's fault after all.

  1. Connect the object you don't want to be stored in [preset] to [preset] middle outlet (the one saying "connect objects to exclude from a preset"). This object won't be stored anymore in new presets, but existing presets will still have data for your object. So to get rid of that:

  2. For each preset:

    1. recall the preset (click it)

    2. overwrite the preset (shift + click it)

Not sure if it is an expected behavior though. I would expect the data stored for an object to automatically disappear from existing presets as soon as you connect it to [preset] middle outlet, but this isn't apparently how it works.

Thanks for the reply TFL. I guess you were probably typing that reply as I was updating the post. It turns out there was a second connection via some message boxes meant to save and return the number to its original count after Max messed around with it. I had forgotten I added than part and as it will no longer be needed I removed it. Now the number is completely free of the preset object and all is well. Thanks again!
