Is this M4L patch working intermittently on your machine?

Max Patch
Copy patch and select New From Clipboard in Max.

Thanks!

Adding a phasor~or a cycle~ between your sig~ and the live.remote should help...

For me the patch seems to work without problems.

It seems to work fine!

Perhaps it's the working of the flonum that gives you the impression of intermittendly working. The sensitvity of the flonum is related to the digit where you click with the mouse before dragging. When you click on the position of a digit far to the right the precision is huge, but the send knob doesn't seem to move.

I did not find this information the help and reference patchers of flonum. Usera tend to think Max's documentation is very good. I think it's too fragmented. I'm missing a book that tells the tale from start to finish.

I can't understand why, yesterday it was working intermittently but now everything is fine!
And it wasn't a matter of precision, I'm used to it. I assure you, the send button was grey but it wasn't responding!
I'm really confident of using Max in a live context, I do it a lot, but still I can't get the same comfort with Max4Live.
About the documentation, I also find the Max doc a bit fragmented, but I feel you can learn a somewhat tale from start to finish by doing the tutorials. Doing the M4L tutorials won't get you that far...
Thanks everyone!

For the record, I've experienced similar issues with live.remote~.

In particular, after editing and saving a device the control of live.remote~ sometimes didn't work anymore. Then I had to save, close and reopen the whole Live song to get the functionality back.

So it seems to be a general problem, but difficult to reproduce.

As broc said, I also realized that the problem comes after editing and saving the patch. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.
This is very annoying. Reopen the Live song seems to be the way to go... Anyone from Cycling 74 can give us a hint of the source of the problem?

Thanks!
