I am trying to make an artificial intelligence on a Mac OsX 10.6.8

When someone comes closer to the built-in camera on the computer, a buzzing sound is supposed to be played.

I have built everything and it all seems logical to me, but the sound only plays after one moves further away from the camera after being closer.

I have been searching and haven't found any solutions, maybe someone else can see what I have done wrong.
