quadpan or similar

hey guys, I'm working on a patch with 4 channels outputs so I was looking for an object in order to control the 4 outputs. I found out thi quad pan object http://www.maxobjects.com/?v=objects&id_objet=911 but is not anymore available (though I got the object thanks to a friend of mine, but is not working on Max 6).
So do u know if there is any similar object?
Cheers

Maybe pan4S, in Max's examples/spatialization/panning folder.

yes something like that but I'd use the pictslider object to control the panning instead of the line messages..

Saving Chris the trouble of (yet) another post to his exmples page, you might try panLRFB~ (example 44) here: http://music.arts.uci.edu/dobrian/IAP2009/examples.htm#Ex44 . Scaling the output of a pictslider from 0. to 1.0 on both axes should work to control that abstraction. In any case, the example directly below that does pretty much what you are after...

You could look for simple_square.maxhelp in the CNMAT MMJ Depot: http://cnmat.berkeley.edu/downloads

There are a bunch of other panning things in there, too.

Max Patch
Copy patch and select New From Clipboard in Max.

This is rather archaic. But it gets a job done pretty basically. It's not completely accurate in the center. I guess it depends on how precise you'd like your volumes to be.
