QUESTION Audio triggered toggle

Hi! I'm a new user to Max (within my first two weeks of using it) and I am trying to recreate dj sniff's cross fader triggered sampler as a learning exercise. This is basically a sampler thats record function is triggered when the xfader is only open on one channel (for example all the way to the right.) I am doing this by running a simple analog tone generator through my mixer and triggering the record~ once the tone generator signal cuts out (when the crossfader is all the way to the right.)

Now, for the part that's giving me difficulty. I am able to turn the record~ ON but I have been unable to figure out how to turn it off. I'm on maybe my 100th iteration of this and I am using the [bonk~] external currently. I have attached a screenshot of my patch so you can see what I am doing. The part in question is the top left.

Now, I'm sure this incredibly hacked together and roundabout, but I'm just trying to figure things out the best I can.

And thank you in advance, I really appreciate your guys' help!

Most likely you'll have more chance of getting some help if you post the actual patch.

Select all and from the Edit menu choose "Copy Compressed"

Then paste it in to a post here

Hey guys, I was able to get this working. I'm posting the trigger patch here in case anyone else is interested. Its pretty... uh... "messy" but it works well for me. You will need the bonk~ external for this work.

Copy patch and select New From Clipboard in Max.

I'm sure there are much easier ways to do this but I'm just happy I was able to figure out something that works.
