Question regarding omx.peaklim~

Cem Guney's icon

Dear All,
I cant figure out why omx.peaklim~ doesnt respond to my stereo panning mixer's
panning when it's signals are routed via send/recieve~. The thing is it does respond to the
panning when directly connected to the mixer.
...my intention is to use the limiter as a seperate patch.

I appreciate if anyone would test the patches that i'll attach via the next post.
...happy new years to all out there, cheers!

Hey there,

I took a look at your patch and tested the [send~/receive~] objects with a [cycle~]. Seems to be working fine for me.

Dear Abstractionisms,

Thx much for your fast response and the test that you've made is much appreciated.
By the way, i think you may have missed the problem as it had to do with the panning,
i could see that you've tested the patch with a cycle~ > output via livegain~ but have you
tried it with one of the channel, pan it and see how the limiter responds? because as i stated
before the limiter doesnt respond to panning when routed via send/receive~.

thx again & hope to talk soon, cheers!
