quick time 64 bits

hello,
i use max 64 bit and i don't understand why apple hven't made quick time 64 bits for windows ?
you think, this is for the futur or quick time is the past ?

I can imagine several reasons... all of them related to "business", not technology itself... QuickTime was very handle solution for multiplatform video for years, but not anymore... Many multiplatform programming languages and frameworks (Processing,Cinder, OpenFrameworks) are switching from QT into GStreamer or other solutions...

No simple answer for now...

Quicktime is depreciated in the next version of OS X -- Mavericks. I don't know if AV Kit is a good solution, or something else, but QT nearing the end of its life.

Sure. Actually we talking about 64bit QTkit on OSX and no equivalent on Win.
