Quicktime movies

How can we figure the limit of how many quicktime movies we can load? Is it a question of RAM or a question of streaming?

I don't think there is a limit to the number of [jit.qt.movie] you can have in a patch and "load" using the read message. Even if you use loadram, asynchread or preroll messages and you don't have enough physical RAM, your OS will surely make-up some for you. How many movies you can play at the same time is surely where the limit will come first. That will depend on your system, and how busy it is when you're using your patch. J-F.

so far, I have 31 loaded and running when needed. I will need the double but I can not tell yet because the patch is not ready.
