qwerty keyboard as controller
perhaps slightly off-topic...
if I were to use a usb qwerty keyboard as a controller using [hi] or junxion, how would I tell os x not to look at it as a keyboard? I don't want to command-q the patch mid performance by mistake.

Though it specifically says it doesn't stop Cmd+Q.
You could remove the keycap from your Cmd key and place some tape over it so you don't catch it accidently. Sounds stupid but might work?
