RAM Status

Hello,
I was just wondering that is it possible to learn Ram Status in Max? (In example free, wired and active memory)
If I am not wrong, Adstatus or dspState objects don't have any feature to show the ram status (double checked from the referance manual)

ps: I am on Mac, OS X 10.5.4 and Max 5.0.4
- Sep 01 2008 | 11:06 pmI think it is possible using [shell] by Bill Orcut (Mac only). I think it was Jeremy Bernstein that made an UB version of this brilliant external...Maybe you can get some ideas from this patch I made a loooong time ago:/J
