Random Melody Generator
We are small Irish music school in Valencia, Spain. We want to develop a random melody generator so our students can have unlimited ear training practice. The generator would need at least the following variables:
* Length of the melody (how many notes/rests it plays)
* The range of melody notes (how many different notes/rests it plays and if they are confined to one octave or not)
* Speed of the melody
* Start note (tonic, starting on any note defined in the range, or random note from the defined range)
* Ascending melodies, descending or both
* Mixed rhythmic possibilities (whole notes/rests, half notes/rests, quarter notes/rests....)
* The melodies must be played against an audible metronome
* The program must work in all twelve keys
* A midi patch of different instruments (melody and percussion)
* Keyboard shortcuts (at least space bar for start/stop)
We are looking for someone who might be able to help us develop this program for an affordable price.
